the house is pleasant to live ideal for a chimney fire well settle into the sofas, the kitchen has every comfort to make nice meal like home, the room are also well comfortable as beds with mattresses for good rest, cots are also in the room as well as chairs for children.

Summary: Beautiful location perfect for a family break. Only issue is no bedding or towels provided so had to bring our own.

Summary: We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful property in an outstanding area. You do need a car to get anywhere though as the village is much further than we thought. We would highly recommend the restaurant in Val-deSaane. However, we have one major complaint. On arrival we had to pay 300 Euros for a security deposit which is not written in any paperwork - it left us very short of cash for our holiday. Can someone explain to us what would happen if we travelled cashless as a lot of people now do ? It really ought to be either included in the holiday price or paid prior to arrival. We were also the confused about any other charges that may have then been incurred and whilst we did have a lovely holiday, it did put a slight strain on our experience. Chantal is a lovely lady and it was obvious she was delighted with how we cleaned the property so that was good but she speaks hardly any English so there was a lot lost in translation. Overall we would recommend this property and area as it is beautiful.

Summary: The property was generally very good, lovely kitchen, plenty of equipment for a large family. Bedrooms good,comfortable beds, clean and well decorated. Could do with updating the downstairs bathroom and fans in toilets. The outside was disappointing,garden large and could be lovely, but overgrown. Grass needed cutting and outside furniture was in need of replacement. Table tennis bats were tatty, just needed more attention to detail.

Summary: What a lovely place to celebrate a 93rd birthday! Excellent accommodation suitable for all of our family from our 1yr old to our 93yr old! The house is characterful and charming. It is well equipped and comfortable. Plenty of kitchen equipment to cater for a large group plus lots of crockery, glasses and cutlery. (The previous reviewer’s comment regarding sharp knives has been addressed.) Lovely grounds around the property. Chantal was very helpful regarding our late arrival due to ferry times. We all had a wonderful time and hope to return. (Do be aware that you will need to provide a €300 security deposit on arrival and that you will be charged for electricity and a tourist tax on departure.)

Summary: A very characterful property in a quaint rural setting. Perfect for getting away from it all. Especially loved the huge fireplace. Children loved the large garden and the visiting chickens. Chantal made us feel very welcome. Very well equipped but could have done with some sharper kitchen knives for chopping veg. We hadn't realised that we needed to bring bed linen with us or hire it so that added to the cost of the holiday, along with the cleaning fee. Overall, I would recommend this property and hope to go back again soon.
